
The Uman Local History Museum is one of the oldest museums in Ukraine, founded in 1917. Its collection includes over 50,000 exhibits showcasing the history, culture, and nature of the Uman region. The museum is housed in an early 20th-century building, which is an architectural landmark.
The exhibitions feature archaeological and numismatic findings, decorative and applied arts, ethnographic materials, as well as documents and photographs highlighting the region’s historical events. The museum also includes the Uman Art Museum and the Memorial Apartment of N.V. Surovtseva.
