The Symyrenko Estate is a unique historical site that served as the home of the renowned Ukrainian family of industrialists and philanthropists. It is also the birthplace of the famous „Renet Symyrenko” apple variety. The estate is home to the L. P. Symyrenko Institute of Pomology and a large experimental station. By the early 20th century, it hosted the largest fruit tree nursery in the Russian Empire, with over 3,000 varieties of apples, pears, cherries, peaches, nuts, and roses. The Symyrenko brothers led expeditions across vast regions from the Caucasus to Poland.

Amid the surrounding park stands the family house, built in 1855, now operating as a memorial museum (a branch of the Cherkasy Regional Museum), opened in 1970. It houses more than 3,500 items: photographs, documents, furniture, and personal belongings. Next to the park is the Holy Trinity Church (1858), which served as the family mausoleum.
