In the Cherkasy park „Valley of Roses“, there is a unique sundial installed in 2012. This art object is designed in the shape of a forged metal bird, symbolizing a crane soaring into the sky.

The bird’s beak serves as the gnomon – the element whose shadow indicates the time. The dial consists of twelve forged chairs arranged in a circle around the sculpture, each marked with a corresponding hour.
