About Lozuvatka Dendrological Park

Established in 1970 by biologist Ivan Hehelskyi, Lozuvatka Dendrological Park is a landscape gardening landmark of local importance. The park features an impressive collection of 264 species of trees and shrubs, including the tulip tree, Douglas fir, Far Eastern yew, and over 60 species of oak. It combines scientific value with visual beauty, making it attractive to both researchers and nature lovers.

A true highlight of the park is its scenic island, accessible via charming suspension bridges – a favorite spot for visitors and photo enthusiasts. The design harmoniously merges decorative plantings with the natural landscape, creating a space ideal for relaxation, nature observation, and environmental education.
