Another historic building in Cherkasy associated with the Polish architect Vladyslav Horodetskyi is the Jewish gymnasium, constructed in the early 20th century (1910s). It is one of the oldest educational buildings in the city. After the revolution, the gymnasium was closed and the building was repurposed for various state and party offices.

In 1988, it was handed over to the Cherkasy Children’s Art School, which now bears the name of renowned Ukrainian graphic artist and set designer Danylo Narbut, an active contributor to the city’s cultural life. The building has preserved its original architectural features– oak doors, arched windows, and a decorative stove, all in a style that combines Art Nouveau and Baroque influences.
