The Cherkasy Regional Museum of Local Lore is one of the largest museum institutions in Central Ukraine, preserving extensive collections on history, ethnography, archaeology, culture, and nature. Its holdings exceed 150,000 exhibits, displayed across 30 halls on four floors.
Among the museum’s unique artifacts, a prominent place is held by the collection of Cossack-era relics, which includes pistols, cannons of various calibers and sizes, and powder flasks. The museum’s rare treasures also feature old prints, religious icons, as well as ethnographic, archaeological, and zoological collections.
