The „Hill of Glory“ memorial complex, located in Cherkasy, Ukraine, was established to commemorate the city’s residents who lost their lives during World War II. Constructed in 1965 and later reconstructed into a comprehensive complex in 1975, the memorial stands on a 10-meter-high earthen mound with a base diameter of 60 meters.

Atop the mound is the „Motherland“ monument, symbolizing the nation’s resilience and honoring the fallen heroes. The site serves as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made during the war and is a place of reflection and remembrance for both locals and visitors.
