The Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi State Historical and Cultural Reserve unites the territories of the historical, cultural and nature reserve fund of the city of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, the urban-type settlement of Stebliv, the villages of Kvitky and Vyhrai with a total area of 103 hectares, which contain 27 monuments of archeology, architecture, history, art and nature, including objects of national importance. The landscape park with the palace ensemble is unique. On the territory of the Reserve there are shrines – the graves of Ivan Soshenko, Ivan Nechuy-Levytskyi’s father and grandfather, and Vasyl Avramenko. The Reserve includes the Museum of the History of the Korsun-Shevchenko Battle, the Historical Museum, the Literary and Memorial Museum of Ivan Nechuy-Levytsky (branch), the Memorial Museum of K.G. Stetsenko, and an art gallery. All of them are able to satisfy the diverse interests of their visitors. For those interested in weapons, the samples of military equipment from the Second World War period located in front of the museum will be of particular interest.

The funds of the Conservation Area and its branch are a unique informative bank on the history of Ukraine. In particular, researchers can get acquainted with materials telling about the classic of Ukrainian literature I. Nechuy-Levytsky, the history of the Korsun-Shevchenko offensive; significant collections of objects by V. Avramenko, a prominent Ukrainian choreographer in the diaspora, and writer and Shevchenko scholar Petro Zhur; quite valuable are the works of the artist and friend of Taras Shevchenko I. Soshenko, graphic artist Mykola Prokopenko, painter Borys Fedorenko, etc. The reserve publishes a popular science journal „Korsun Chasopys“, which can publish materials by researchers of Ukrainian history.
