About the Former Polish Stone Church
The former Polish stone church in Monastyryshche is one of the most fascinating architectural monuments of the region, preserving the atmosphere of centuries past. It represents a fine example of sacral architecture, combining both simplicity and monumentality. Visitors are especially intrigued by the remains of its original decorations: gypsum ornaments in the form of rhombuses and patterns dating back more than 200 years, as well as the beautiful mosaic flooring that has survived through time.
In the past, the tombs of the wealthiest families of the area stood here, but today only the park remains. Its broad alleys and the cool shade of the trees transport visitors two centuries back, offering a unique sense of timelessness.
