The only Buddhist temple in Europe that is a replica of the famous Buddhist temple in Laos. Here, ancient philosophy is studied, martial arts and meditation are practiced. Only here can you see ancient sculptures over 7,000 years old, symbols of feminine and masculine energy, and a bell whose sound is said to cleanse the soul. The site also features two stone warriors brought from Laos, each said to be 7,000 years old. According to archival records, 7,000 years ago a temple already existed on the site of today’s Cherkasy Lake — which was then an island. During the foundation work, a stone was found depicting Buddha wearing a warrior’s mask.

The temple is open to pilgrims and visitors alike: it offers fascinating educational tours through the temple complex, teaches proper mantra chanting, work with cold weapons, kung fu, Thai boxing, holds refined tea ceremonies, and helps visitors enter a peaceful meditative state.
