About Hulianytskyi Park

Hulianytskyi Park is a 19th-century landscape monument created on the site of the noble Hulianytskyi family estate in the village of Bachkuryne. The park was established in the mid-1800s as part of the tradition of manor landscaping, where natural beauty was harmonized with intentional design to reflect aristocratic taste and status. The park’s structure remains discernible and is divided into three main zones:

a dark coniferous section dominated by spruce, a light area with birch trees, and a mixed section featuring various deciduous species. In its prime, the park was centered around the Hulianytskyi manor, whose main facade faced a large pond. Though the pond has since been drained and built over, the historical layout is still partially preserved in the existing vegetation and paths.
