Buky Canyon is one of the most picturesque places in the Cherkasy region, attracting tourists with its unique natural beauty. The canyon is located on the Hirskiy Tikich River, within the village of Buky in the Uman district of Cherkasy region. It is a geological natural monument created by millions of years of work by water and glaciers, which formed its unique landscape. The canyon is made up of Proterozoic granite, which is more than 2 billion years old. It stretches over 2.5 km along the river, with some parts of its width reaching 80 m and a depth of up to 20 m. The area here is highly diverse: steep slopes, rocky islands, numerous boulders, and natural arches.

One of the main natural attractions of the canyon is the „Vyr“ waterfall, which has a height of up to 5 meters, formed by the Hirskiy Tikich River, as well as several small streams and springs running down the canyon slopes. Buky Canyon is not only a geological landmark but also a beautiful place for nature recreation. Popular activities here include hiking trails, boat and catamaran rides along the river, and fishing. The canyon area also has many cozy spots for picnics and camping, making it an ideal location for active recreation.
